For those of you who are in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is almost at an end. We can put down our summer dresses and pick up our coats, and finally bust out those fedoras. For me, Summer to Autumn is always the most welcome change. I love cooler weather, layers and the Autumn fashion in general. The only thing that could make me love Autumn and Winter more is if Christmas was plonked in the middle there, however, we can’t have everything- hey.

Today I have partnered with to bring you my current wishlist for the transitional season. I will show you what I have been craving during the Summer to Autumn period and my picks for the seasons to come.

I have blended two of my “Style Go To” collections to show you how I would assemble my daily transitional season looks. I hope you enjoy looking more into my lust list, and maybe get a few previews of what I’ll be wearing on my travels this year.

Below you will first find a few tips about what I consider when choosing staples for my wardrobe before you get into my first Go to Collection: Layering up. My second collection is all about Smart Casual Dressing and what I use to build a unique and effortlessly stylish outfits. Enjoy!

First thing’s first.  When I choose staples for my wardrobe it is all about the base. I go for neutral, comfortable and effortlessly chic. I look for things that I think look classic own their own without having to add accessories and good hair or makeup. The piece itself has to be nice.  In these instances my basics got-to’s would be jeans, shirts, coats and dresses and I build my outfit around these staples. I then would think about what handbag looks nice, what shoes or scarf make the outfit really something to enhance the already quality look. I hope these tips help you build your Summer to Autumn wardrobe also.

Style Go To Collection #1:

We may not be ready to ditch the tee’s or heels during the day, but we’re definitely ready to add something when the sun starts to set- or when the rain starts to fall. It has been a little blustery at times, there has been a chill in the air that lingers from nightfall to mid morning. These are my outfit picks for those tricky, changing atmospheres.

When it comes to layering up for me I am all about comfort. I don’t like to look or feel bulky and I like to ensure I still maintain a good sense of style. The main ways I do this is with coats, boots and extra layers like jumpers. By doing this you are able to take layers off as the temperature heats up or vice versa. I’ll always be equipped with a trusty handbag and even a hat or scarf.

 Style Go To #2:

It may or may not be a secret that I am a huge fan of smart casual fashion. I love to be on that edge of dressed up and dressed down, that little blurred line in the middle. These are my outfit picks for how I would create a smart casual outfit for the summer to autumn/winter season.

My Smart Casual looks always combine pristine and glam pieces with more sporty casual ones. I like to make sure that if I have really dressy heels and bag that I opt for a more casual, laid back dress or if I am looking to wear a more feminine outfit I downplay the accessories. When it comes to jewellery I opt for plain rose gold chains and studs, paired with a classic watch and sunnies.
