THE VANITY FEATURES: THE MAKINGS OF A GORGEOUS DRESSER

I have a very organised storage system for my ever growing beauty collection, I recently had to move my dresser from my bedroom into my office so I could store it all properly! I may show you my dresser soon, it has been in my family for generations- I inherited this when I was very young and it is looking rather worse for wear, so a makeover is well overdue. However, there are a few products that I deem to pretty to pack away- these are my pick of the crop that sit very prettily on top of my dresser that share the secrets of within. I thought I would share these with you.

THE LIPS

Of course you know I love my Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors. I keep these on the vanity as they are not only pretty but are one of my most reached for lip products for work or leisure. I have these in the shades 03 and 05 (although I cannot wait for the new ones to come out here!).

Then, more favourites, are my Estée Lauder Signature Lipsticks in Dune Rose and Rich Red. These gorgeous little bullets speak for themselves.

THE FACE

I got my Estée Lauder Eyeshadow Duo years ago, when I first started blogging, and although I think it was limited edition it is still one of my most used palettes- it is so pigmented that it has lasted extremely well! I also have here my Estée Lauder Double Wear Brush-On-Glow BB Highlighter, one I use daily for brightening.  Lastly I have a recent find, my Clarins Fix’ Make-Up Refreshing Mist. This is something I use in the morning to set my makeup as it has a long-lasting hold, but I also chuck this in my handbag to refresh during the day, a total princess product but one that is well worth it.

THE OTHERS

Bar my gold jewellery I only feature a couple more products that I like to have on my vanity, my ultimate favourite candles by Ecoya- Amber and Cypress and the traditional Pine Needles for Christmas. My OPI “Worth a Pretty Pene”, new from the Venice Collection, is my flavour of the month as it is so pretty and subtle. I don’t usually go for shimmers but I have barely taken this off. Of course I have to have my favourite perfume of the moment, my Marc Jacobs Daisy featured in here- since I got it for my birthday in October I have been using this daily. I also keep a couple more perfume bottles here on my dresser, but haven’t touched them since I received this.

I know there is an shameless and obvious theme here but these are the products that I use more or less day to day. Have you tried these products? What do you think?
