Yes you may think that this is a post featuring pretty homewares and some crafty ideas, but sorry to disappoint- this does, in fact, involve makeup.
You might know that I try to venture back to my home town regularly that, unlike the town I live in, houses many malls, city life and high end makeup stores that I cannot find here- so it has to be a given that I shop when I go back to visit my family, right? Right.
I thought I would show you some of the pieces that I brought while back home- I may have another haul coming involving more fashion items, but since that is not my forte I’ll stick with the cosmetics for now, eh.
MAC is one of those brands that will always have something on my wishlist. There is a store back home and so whenever I’m close I’ll pop in to have a look. There are two areas of my makeup collection that I want to expand on, these being blushes and lipsticks- Mac Lipsticks in particular. It didn’t take me long to seek out these beauties, and I got my lipstick free for my empty eyeshadow cases so snaps for me
I ended up purchasing MAC Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour in Relaxation which is a lightweight and super creamy warm pink multi-use product. I use this as a cream blush which gives off the perfect glowy, dewy complexion but you are also able to swipe a bit on your lips for a light my-lips-but-prettier pink.
MAC Lipstick in Twig was the lippy I went with from the small selection I could choose for trading in my eyeshadow pots- a satin finish that is the perfect rosy, muted but deep pink. I am totally in love, smitten, I tell you.
These tw will work wonders in the colder climate that I am in now, but I am almost certain they’ll be perfect for a fresh faced night out in summer also.
Have you tried these from Mac? What are your thoughts?
