The Brow Game

Eyebrow Routine Ambermariemarie

My brow game has never really been the strongest, but recently I have taken it upon myself to put extra care into my eyebrows during my morning makeup routine and it really does make a difference.

I am not one of those people who has been blessed with naturally strong brows, due to being blonde my eyebrows are fair and a little sparse- but thats okay, cause I have found my perfect brow routine (at the moment).

I use a few products on my brows, firstly the Smashbox Brow Tech Trio Wax after brushing through my brows to make sure they are staying in place, I use the Zoeva 317 Brush for this. I then use the Taupe/Soft Brown side and feather the taupe colour through any “lighter” or sparse areas with the 317 (if I am in a rush I will do this with the Smashbox Brow Tech To Go Crayon in Taupe). I’ll then go in and line the bottom of my brow with the soft brown shade to define and give it that nice, sharp edge. I always focus on the middle and the end of my brow- never right at the front to avoid that “boxed” look.

Any areas that are hard to fill or are particularly lacking I will use the taupe color with the Zoeva 322 Brush, this is thicker and covers more area, I then go over this with a little more product with the 317 to make it look more natural.  This brush is also perfect for applying highlight under your brow but I personally use the Chi Chi Eye Brightener Pencil (this can be brought at Farmers in NZ or in Australia- unfortunately I was unable to find a link for those outside of those countries).

After highlighting under my brows I will apply the gel on the Smashbox Brow Tech To Go Crayon as the last step to make sure none of  the product is straying and make sure that everything is set in place.

I love this look as it is natural and soft but still defined.  Tell me about your brow routine? What products do you use?
