Its that time again and I have an exciting bunch of favourites to get through- it feels like it has been a while since I have had a change up in my favourites and it is rather refreshing to not see the same old same old showing up around this time every month. A few of these I have mentioned and a few I have to get around to putting reviews up for, so here we go!

I’m going to start with SKINCARE FAVOURITES as these are the first things I head towards in the morning and evening. I first have the The Body Shop Brazil Nut Cream Body Scrub

I am running out of this super fast, I love it to bits, the thing I love most is the way this product smells- it has a very sweet creamy smell, almost completely like caramel but more milky if that makes sense, it is totally decadent- perfect for the colder months. Some of the ingredients of this scrub are cacao seed butter, caramel and brazil nut oil,  this is super nourishing on the skin and has small bits of walnut shell that exfoliates very well and is not too harsh. This is aimed at dry skin and it does a super job with adding moisture to your routine, leaving your skin soft, silky and smelling amazing.

Next up is something I have told you about, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. The Clarins Water Comfort One- Step Cleanser with Peach- Like I have said before this smells incredible and does a really fantastic job at removing the remnants of my make up. I’ll use this after my shower to remove any leftover make up from my eyes, face and neck and will sometimes use this in the morning also after my shower before toning and moisturising if I feel I need it if I have washed my hair, just to get any remaining product off.

Last for Skincare Favourites I have my next edit which I will be posting about soon which is the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. Yes you’ve heard it before, yes it is a cult classic and yes it is totally worth it. It smells amazing, like turkish delight and I love it. It comes out in a peach coloured gel and applies to your skin where it turns into an oil. I always wipe this off with a warm, damp cloth before every shower- day and night without fail. This really illuminates the skin and leaves a nice glow, it feels like I’m giving my skin some real good loving while using this as it has a super pamper effect, I love using this every day.

My face favourites have been all about the Estee Lauder love it seems. I start my make up routine with the Estee Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer to add a nice glow to my face before applying any product. This makes my makeup apply beautifully and a little really does go a long way, I did a review of this here if you’d like to check it out.

I follow my primer with the Estee Lauder Double Wear All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup in the shade 2.0- I usually go for the lightest shade of foundations but I decided that I am not as fair as I thought I was, I have a little olive undertone and going for a slightly darker shade really gives me that healthy shine that I needed. Now I look less dead. This has SPF 30 which is always a bonus, but this product really does live up to it’s name. I was reluctant to buy this at first because of the size and price comparison- a sample had me in love from the first use, but I realised that the small packaging still holds 30ml which is the size of the NARS Sheer Glow (which I am still planning on adding to my collection- watch this space) and it didn’t seem as bad. This gives a lovely dewy, glowy finish and it doesn’t disappear at the end of the day, which I have a lot of trouble with. It is a light to medium coverage, I love this as I don’t feel so caked up and I get plenty of compliments when I wear it, I think it has definitely become a staple.

Lastly I have my Estee Lauder Ideal Light Brush on Illuminator, as you can tell I’m all about the glow, which I use after I have contoured on my cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow. I use this in the shade 07- Soft Pink which adds a nice natural looking highlight. It lasts forever and I have been known to mix this in with my previous foundations for an all over glow.

The Eyes

You may have already seen these as I did a haul at the start of October for my birthday. I’ll start with the Smashbox Brow Tech To Go Crayon Et Gel which is definitely a daily grab for me, in the shade Taupe. This has simply been revolutionary for my eyebrows and I would definitely recommend it- I hate doing my brows but this definitely makes it a little easier.

I also have the Smashbox Limitless 15 Hour wear Cream Shadow in Quartz. I apply this with my finger as a base for my daily makeup and it really does last all day, it won’t move at all (try swatch this baby, I swear it’ll last all day and you won’t be able to forget how amazing it is cause it won’t come off), not to mention it has a gorgeous creamy, easily blendable formula that I love. It is a lovely shimmering rosy, bronzy sheen and it is perfect for any season, weather and occasion. I use this every day and I have barely made a dent, a definite must have.

The Lips

I have two new Lip Favourites for you, which is a final change- I feel like I have been wearing the same stuff forever, and the first is the Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain, and I have the shade 10- LA Exclusive. This is a pink that goes on almost dolly pink, which fades down to a deeper bright berry pink, I love it a lot. This lasts a long time and it is so buttery that you’d almost think it was a gloss, balm hybrid than a liquid lipstick. This goes with almost everything and you don’t really need a mirror to apply which is a bonus.

The Maxfactor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in 06- Mauve Moment. I didn’t intend on this type of shade when I purchased it, but it turned out to be a real winner for nights out (or daily lip for those of you in Autumn/Winter)- I pop this on with a natural gloss over top (I have been using Estee Lauders Pure Colour in 07- Tempting Tearose- a brown rose toned shine gloss). This is a darker rose liner with a hint of plum and a browny base tone which is very buildable. It is super flattering and sophisticated. You may need a bit of balm under this if you have dry lips but it lasts a very decent amount of time, and for the price I’ll be getting more shades of this.

We’ll thats it for my October Favourites and I hope you enjoyed, as you can see I’m all into the glowy, long lasting products so if you have some you think I’d like please share! There are a few favourites in there that you may like for Autumn and Winter, as I am coming into Spring now (although its still a little chilly). Also let me know if you’d like a makeup look or routine with these products- I’d be more than happy to oblige!
