High End Shopping

Browsing the internet this morning with my cup of tea I came across Shaaanxo’s latest beauty haul. The products she brought were gorgeous, all high-end and stunning, but what I was more interested in was where she purchased these products from.

In New Zealand high-end products are hard to come buy, and the prices are usually racked up extremely high, you find that websites shipping to New Zealand have them a bit cheaper (making sure you have the right currency).

I know that I have a taste for high end make-up. I know I don’t have much but I like the idea of treating myself every now and then, and I know that quality is better than quantity. Shannon linked down below to a few websites, two I’m interested in particular. I have shopped online a little for a few products, but I made a habit of travelling back home to go to the high end store. This can be more expensive and more tempting, as you aren’t watching the price rack up if you, like me, let the sales girls woo you.

I thought I would marvel with you, these sites, as I think they are going to change my life when it comes to purchasing make-up online. Some of the products I would like to buy I have seen in stores, I have tested them and I know what I am buying, but I believe that it may be dangerous if you haven’t thoroughly checked out what you purchase.

The website I was most excited about is Nordstrom. I have to add that, again, I haven’t done much online shopping to beauty so even though I may not know these sites, you may, so please be kind.  Nordstrom seems very reasonably priced and I love that it has free shipping. Saks Fifth Avenue also are priced nicely, I am starting to wonder why I ever brought in stores here.  I think they do charge shipping though, and I haven’t ventured far enough to find out and I was disappointed to see that some items they can’t ship to NZ.

I also checked out Sephora, which yes, I have heard of and I will be looking at some products here too.

I am stoked I have found websites that are priced very well that stock high end make-up all in one place, and I think it might be a little dangerous, but thats okay.

Have you brought beauty online? How was your experience?

  • I always buy online! Mostly from asos as they sell NARS, Daniel Sandler and illamasqua x
