CHRISTMAS CANDLE CRAVINGS

So if you haven’t noticed already I am the biggest sucker for sweet smelling things, and so in saying that I am totally addicted to candles. I seem to have collected a bit of a basket on my desktop of candles that I want to find and buy over the Christmas period. Some are proving pretty tricky, like the yankee candles, as they aren’t really sold in New Zealand, and if you do find them they can sometimes be quite pricey, but Im determined.

These are a few of the candles that I really have a hankering to get my hands on.

The Ecoya Caramelised Plum Pudding candle- doesn’t that sound amazing? Ecoya is a brand that you can buy in New Zealand for the higher range of prices. I have been looking at getting this one from Farmers from around $40-$50.

I haven’t managed to find  a stockist for the yankee candles around my area as of yet, these are the two I want to get. If anyone does know where I can buy them from in New Zealand please let me know!

I have had this one before and it does smell great, I love cinnamon any time of the year, so Christmas is perfect to get that ball rolling, filling up the house with its wonderful scent. This is from the Aromatherapy co brand- love them!Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 1.32.24 PM

Glasshouse is not a brand that is very known to me, but I spotted this gem at Redcurrent in Casabella lane in Hamilton, and I fell in love. It is the perfect Christmassy candle look and smell wise and I have a real soft spot for deer and antlers (I know, its a little weird). Redcurrent is one of my favourite stores in Hamilton city, it also has a website here. This scent is Dancing SugarPlums “Inspired by plum puddings, Grandma’s treats and festive fruits, Night Before Christmas combines Blackcurrant, Plum, Lemon and Lavender to remind you of everything that’s magic about Christmas.” sounds incredible right?
