CHANEL SUMMER EDIT

As you know already myself and one of my girlfriends made a trip over to Hamilton for a girls weekend away. Some damage was done in the shopping department.

I made a beeline for the Chanel counter, and although I could have taken home the whole counter I didn’t come away with as much as I had intended. In the past I had found the Chanel counters slightly intimidating, it seems I have grown up in my taste of makeup. These are my few picks from the Chanel counter for the Spring/Summer weather that will greet us in the UK when we arrive!

I wanted some special pieces to for my Chanel summer edit knowing that they were going to be staples in my collection for quite some time. You may had seen my post on the Nars Madly blush, it is the only blush I have used for years. I think it was definitely time to broaden my blush horizons. Why not do it with Chanel.

Chanel Powder Blush in 71 Malice is the perfect peachy pink, perfect to go with any outfit and time of day. It came in the most gorgeous velvet protective slip (if you follow me on twitter you would know that anything that comes with a dust bag makes me particularly happy).

I also invested in the perfect summer lipstick. Chanel Rouge Allure Intense Long Wear Lip Colour in 175 Ardente is a gorgeous combination between red and orange. It is a limited edition and I think I may have to stock up quickly cause I am in love.

Lastly I made a very last minute decision after falling in love with this Coco Mademoiselle Parfum Purse Spray. Great for carrying in your handbag, perfect for travel. It comes with three gorgeous little refills.

I also purchased the most gorgeous red nail varnish in 500 rouge essential. Stupidly I forgot to include it in my Chanel Summer Edit! However, this polish is the loveliest polish I have ever used and now think that it deserves something of its own. You can find me wearing it on my Instagram otherwise subscribe to me on Bloglovin to get notified when I post!

Love everything you’ve picked! Coco Mademoiselle smells amazing, not on me though unfortunately. Have you tried their Rouge Allure velvet lipsticks yet? One of my fave formulas when it comes to lipsticks x

    • It’s definitely on my list to try them! I would also love a bottle of the new No.5 fragrance, have you tried that one?

No I haven’t actually, but I’ve been using and loving Chance for years now!
