I have been home for the last weekend, and I’ll be going back next weekend after work, and when I go home it means one thing; Shopping.
In the town I live in there are practically no stores I fancy to shop at, other than the glassons, just jeans and farmers staples, and even those staples don’t have the variety that I like to have when it comes to shopping for myself. So when I do go back home for the weekend I practically have a whole list of items that I want to have a look at, and more often than not I will decide that I only need half of those items during a trip. This was not one of those trips.
Just to make it easy on you I’ve prepared a list of the things I purchased that are featured here, I have saved a couple things (Don’t worry, I’m not holding the exciting cosmetic products on you) to feature in next weeks post after I come back on Monday.
- MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden
- MAC 208 Angled Brow Brush
- MAC Matte Eyeshadow in Omega
- MAC Matte Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown
- Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in 3.25 Cool Beige
I am super super happy with these products and I am so excited to be kicking off my “higher maintenance” make up collection. You can already tell that my make up is lasting and holding so much better, already proving my theory that you usually get what you pay for.
After all this I am ashamed to say that there were a few things I did not manage to get a hold of that I wanted to and so while spending time with my sister I will be making a trip back to pick up a couple things. These things are additions to my very small collection of the top shelf make up products I have and I thought I may include you in my very long journey to perfecting my make up collection. I’ll tell you, the brushes are going to be a killer as I do favour the MAC brushes over others. If you have any tips, favourites or experiences (with anything to do with converting to high end make up) please let me know!
Also, just as a little side note (Being my 40th post), I would like to express how much I enjoy writing for all of you. I have seen my follow count go up and up (which I didn’t expect at all) and I would like to say thank you to all of you who do. I look forward to writing a post every week and seeing you all liking, following and viewing my blog makes me so happy as writing is something I have always done. So stay cool, and thank you for your immense support- it really means a lot to me.
